Description
The Executive Director manages the university's information security
program by developing and championing policy, procedural and technological
controls to avoid and/or mitigate risk to RIT's information assets to
support the mission of RIT. Responsibilities include information asset risk
management, development of security policies and procedures, delivery of
security awareness training, security architecture and incident response.
Given the focus in these areas, it is anticipated that the the Exec. Dir. will
assess and achieve this in collaboration with operational staff across the
enterprise. The Exec. Dir. will be responsible for the direction and
supervision of the information security office staff. To be qualified for this position 2 years experience with IT
Administration and knowledge of Security privileges are required.

Description
A local company to Buffalo, NY is looking for a Security Administrator to
join their team.
On a day-to-day basis you will be providing IT Security Administration,
adding users to existing servers within a SQL database environment. The
ideal candidate will also possesses Unix experience and understand how to
add users to the Unix environment. Experience with Enterprise applications
adding users to these applications and running queries within Access
environment also highly desired.
- To be qualified for this position 2 years experience with IT
Administration and knowledge of Security privileges are required.
- This position is scheduled to be a 3 month contract.
